Courses

Master's degree

The Master’s course aims to train professionals who are capable
of conducting research and teaching, based on ethical principles and the
theoretical and methodological foundations of Social, Work and Organizational
Psychology.

Including the dissertation, the Master´s degree must be obtained
within a minimum of two and a maximum of four regular semesters, with at least the completion of 30 credits in courses and a dissertation defense done in a public session, approved by an Examining Committee composed of three members.

The University of Brasilia is a public institution and the Master’s course is free. The course is given during the day and is not offered at distance. For Scholarships, access the corresponding menu.

Doctorate degree

The Doctorate course aims to train professionals who are capable of conducting research and teaching, based on ethical principles and the theoretical and methodological foundations of Social, Work and Organizational Psychology. The Doctorate course differs from the Master’s course due to the high degree of autonomy and originality required in carrying out these researches.

Including the thesis, the doctoral student must complete the course in a minimum of four and a maximum of eight regular academic periods, with completion of at least 48 credits in courses and a thesis defended in a public session, approved by an Examination Committee composed of four members.
